How small are your steps?

Picture in your mind blisters all over your hands from griping the shovel to tight. Digging hole after hole in a back yard with the sun shining down on you for hours. Why would one person choose to do this? Why would some one enjoy digging holes? In the novel Small Steps the main character, Armpit does this for a living. In the book Small Steps the Arthur did a great job with painting  picture in your mind , great job describing characters, and his amazing voice.

Like I said in the first paragraph the Arthur did a great job painting a picture in your mind. During the whole book you really could see what was going on. He also use get words like “scurried around." Words that you don’t see a lot. Surprisingly  he didn’t use a lot of similes. On the other hand he did a good job of describing the characters. It was like you could have know them forever but it was just a book. It was amazing how well he did that. 

Besides painting a picture in your mind or describing the characters he additionally did a fantastic job with his voice. It was like the characters were talking normal and not set up  to talk one way. He also put singing in the book witch I have never seen before. I wish more or the book that I read had something new like that.

The book Small Step was fantastic and you should read it as soon as possible.
