Authors note: I thought since our military do so much for us that these should get credit.

Yes I am proud of my country, because everyone is free. I know at least 10 people that have been or are now in the military. Three of them came back Injured. Thousands of men and women risk there life’s for us just for you and me. There not forced to, they choose to. People actually train to be in the army .If you’re not proud of that then why are you in this country? Why are you reading this essay? America is and always has been the freest country ever!

“Give me Liberty or Give me Death” Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775. “I have a dream” August 28 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C. Martin Luther King, Jr. Four score and seven years ago” Gettysburg, Pennsylvania November 19, 1863 Abraham Lincoln. All three of these people risked their life for America. They all wanted freedom so badly that they were willing to do anything to get to it. They would rather die than live in a country with unfair rights and with their deaths America would have never have changed. Certain things were suppose to happen. These people were suppose to happen

When you compare the United States to others what do you see. You see starvation and people on the verge of death. When you look at the U.S.A you see children going to school and the parents stuck in traffic because they all have a job. Everyone has their place and at that place they fell safe and comfortable. They are not on the verge of death or having to risk their life trying to get food. In the United States you can be what you want to be and aren’t forced to do anything you don’t want to.

That’s why the free country in the world will always be American.
