Authors note: Having to do a cause and effect essay I was brainstorming. Then I though of what I was going to do that night. That sparked a idea and here it is now, a cause and effect piece on why being in a sport changes your life.
Practicing a sport is much more than the act of pushing your
body into using your all of your skills to reach your goals. There are many
effects that show after you get involved in any sport like soccer. Some effect are physical, some mental, some
will change your personal life and some will change your personality.
One major effect of being in a sport is that you will get
better at that activity. Your body will get in better shape, and you’ll be able
to achieve things that you couldn't accomplish before. For instance your speed,
stamina, and flexibility will all increase enormously. By exercising on a
regular basis your body will be healthier, which means fewer diseases and fewer
injuries. People with a healthy life tend to live longer and happier.
Besides getting better it also effects what you do with your
personal life. Yes, sports will take up a lot of your life. Practicing a sport
requires some time, so you will be entertained for a while everyday instead of
watching television, surfing on the internet or playing video games. By
practicing a sport you’ll get the chance to travel to new places where your
games are. And that’s not all because once you enter a higher level of
competition, you may compete in regional or national tournaments, attract
sponsors, and you could even make a profit out of it!
Most important effect that being in a sport causes on you is,
your social side. You will meet a lot new people into the same thing as you, from
beginners to professionals. However, only a small group of people will become
your friends to the point of turning into your second family. That is having a
team. As an athlete you will develop a strong passion for the game and become
more competitive. Besides you’ll become more disciplined and responsible, which
will certainly help you in when you are getting better and more talented.
The effects of being an athlete shape your body, your life,
and your mind in good ways. Practicing a sport keeps you entertained and far
away from being bored. In addition you will have the chance to experience the
amazing feeling of beating all your opponents down from the quarterfinals or
crossing the finish line ahead of everyone else.
Good transitions
